Large Format Photography

10th June 2017
I've recently started to dabble in large format film photography using the Intrepid 4x5 camera. So far I've exposed 8 sheets of Fuji Velvia 50 and I'm pleased to say they came out pretty well. I might show a few here once they've been scanned. The way this type of photography slows you down really suits the way I like to work so I can see myself regularly using the camera along side my digital set up. It's worth noting most of my large format gear has been bought secondhand and good bargains can be had on lenses and film holders etc. from Ebay, particularly if you buy from Japan it seems. Both my 90mm Nikon SW and 150mm Fujinon CMW arrived in mint condition at good prices. The film, Velvia 50, has to bought from Japan as it's no longer available in Europe, but I order that through Ebay as well and everything has been fine with it. I'll probably do a review on the Intrepid 4x5 camera in the next few months...
